I run NovaTerm on my C64, which is capable of a perfectly legible 80 column screen on a Commodore 1702 monitor. I have a bunch of
ESP8266-based WiFiModems around here for use with my vintage machines,
and the C-64's user port is good for 2400bps.

Hello Everyone!
How well does everything run with a 1985 300 baud Commodore 64 setup, including a 40-character CRT monitor and all the bells and whistles, in
a modern Synchronet BBS? Along the way, there were some unexpected obstacles - true to Murphy's Law.

Thank you!
I'm only one part away from being
able
to do this myself. I don't
have the GLink interface.
I'm tempted to get one now, and
experience this myself. I have both
a
colour CRT TV, and a monochrome
amber
monitor like yours. Won't able
to match your slick production
values
though.
Nevertheless, thanks again.
