Don,
I have a picture over here of an emaciated, malnourished, porker... where you could see his ribs. It was a piggy bank woefully low on
money. <G>
Yep. Just read a story about another porker from Oklahoma City who
refused to wear a mask into a shoe store...assaulted the employees &
left screaming. Just like when Bart/Lisa headed to summer camp...kept saying "Not Oklahoma" in a chant & when I found out that's where it was..."D'oh". Fortunately...being the Okie rocket scientist it
was...left her license & such on the counter for the employee to give
to the police.
That's like the guy who holds up the bank in his work uniform, and
uses the back of his deposit ticket as a stick-up note. <G>
Have to work this evening...but at least that will give me a smile & something to talk about.
There is so little to laugh at nowadays. I saw 2 hilarious files in
the D-Star Trains And Railroads Net Facebook Group that I moderate. I
am also the Net Control (Conductor) for that net, which meets on the
QuadNet Array every Friday at 8pm Eastern Time, on the amateur radio
modes of D-Star, DMR, WIRES, and System Fusion...plus taking checkins
on the mode of D-Rats. There is a railroad trivia question, and those
checking in for the first time, can request a commemorative certificate
via email.
Anyway, the files were these, which I've put in the files area on the
BBS for Verified Users.
badstrun.png -- When Street Running Goes Bad. While not that common as
it once was, there are some areas where the railroad tracks go right
down a busy city street. It's known as "street running". The photo
shows a single diesel locomotive, running "engine light" (with no
other cars). The traffic signal is red, but he's moving. The meme
notes that the engineer said to the police officer that "the light
was yellow when I entered the intersection". <G>
redblock.png -- a colorful pair of shorts or a bathing suit, with
what looked like a Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) locomotive
on the front, and the words "STOP LOOKING AT MY TRAIN!!". <BG>
I roared with laughter, especially on the second one.
