    I will miss him a lot. He helped me for decades with FTN technology questions
    and provided me with many things, including his source code to the current

    Elist bot. We were working together on an issue concerning MOD RUL
    updates
    not working.

    Time marches on and waits for no man, sadly.

    Ben was active in Fidonet for a very long time. I started officially in Fidonet in 1996 as a point and in 1998 as a node. He was around then.

    That rhymes with my memory of when I first met Ben. I really didn't get into Fidonet fully until I was nodelisted for the first time. I was actually a lot more active in Sysops' Tech Net (STN) at that time and Fidonet was more of an afterthought. As STN slowly died off, I became more active in Fidonet and that's when I first met Ben.
