  • Millenials killing PBR

    Apparently, millenials are working dead end jobs and living at home or
    living with too many roommates, and instead of drowning their sorrows in
    a 12 pack of watery American beer are splurging on a few pints of craft
    beer.

    Apparently Pabst Blue Ribbon, patron beer of the previous generation of hipsters is in danger of going away, MillerCoors, who brews and bottles PBR
    is claiming they don't have the capacity to continue, and PBR is suing
    them.

    Funny, I didn't know PBR was considered a "light" beer. They do make a
    light, and now PBR APA - American Pale Ale.

    Sounds like it's cheaper to outsource the brewing and canning, yes. And,
    you never want to depend on one of your competitors for your company's
    product.

    Interesting that all of the coverage is referring to PBR as a light beer.
    It's watery, but not "light". Miller Lite and Coors Light are probably
    brewed right alongside PBR, and therein lies the problem.
