Very nice. It's currently 30c here in Ontario with high humidity so
you have to chew the air when you breath. I don't care though as I
hate the cold even more then the heat. LOL Grandson's 4'th birthday
party so I'll just live in the pool with him. LOL
Shawn, I know 30c is near 90f, but have no idea what "chew the air" means.
In my area (a bit south of Algonquin Park) the humidity hasn't been as
bad as in previous years, so far. I have a split-level home. The
lower level is very cool, but too cold to sleep there. This year, I
rigged up a fan to blow the air from the lower level to the foyer level (ground level), and another fan to blow the air from the foyer to the
next upper level (main living area). This hack has resulted in
reducing the upper level temps from 88F-90F down to 77F
In other years, I would just park a cot in the foyer and sleep there during the worst of it.
August,
My Dad lived in a split-level home for a while.
Dad asked a Heating Contractor why the lower level was so cold in the
Summer Time.
The Heating Contractor said: Dad should shut off the lower level air vents
in the Summer time as the cool air would descend to the lower level.
