They did a magnificent job rectifying a stupid situation. The Aussie know-it-all should have known better, but of course they all 'know it all' and can't be told.

The Hermit Kingdom sentenced an American college student to several
years of hard labor for stealing a propaganda sign, and then failed
to protect him from harm. Sweden was instrumental in getting him
released and repatriated to the USA, where he died days later upon
arrival due to injuries sustained.

Kim Jong-Un claims he knew nothing about it (the American college
student being imprisoned and mortally wounded). Donald Trump says
he believes his pen pal was telling the truth.

News later reported by the news media that $2 million USD was paid
by the Trump administration to The Hermit Kingdom in order to obtain
his release.

No mention was made about Sweden's involvement, but it is clear
that some entity had to have made the exchange of funds.

The Hermit Kingdom lives up to its reputation.
After the armistice was signed, only four nations
were allowed to have diplomatic relations - Poland,
Czechoslovakia, Switzerland, and Sweden. And then
the regime later decided to get rid of Poland and
Czechoslovakia. For no apparent reason other than
just to do it because it could.

Whatever Switzerland and Sweden are doing to keep
themselves in good standing with The Hermit Kingdom
is beyond anybody's understanding. But the rest of
the world should be thankful for both have done so
that the world can remain at peace.

Kudos for Sweden! And kudos to Switzerland!

For at least trying to make this world a better
place - for all, not just for themselves.
