So wondering if there is any feedback to those that may have played with AfterShock for Andriod. Any feedback/suggestions etc on their interface?

See a POLL Uplink at the bottom, a MAIL and ECHO button and the settings button.

Not sure if I like it but new to the Mobile Development, looking to you for thoughts and Ideas.

I've got an
Android phone, and have been looking for a telnet or BBS

phone (it's a Moto from Verizon).

Well I was just wondering. I have both Android and IOS here and was toying with the idea to write an extension to InterMail that would make it easy for such an app to get tied into FTN.

I use Aftershock myself when I am on the road, mostly for netmail. I
have used Hotdoged also and find it works quite well for the most part.
I find the buttons are OK. I'm not sure those apps can be dumbed down anymore than they are. To use those apps a fella has to have a pretty
good grasp of how FTN works.

Just for grins, I looked in the Google Play store, but didn't see an
actual program with that name. What should I look for?? I have a Moto
Android phone through Verizon.

I have AfterShock and HotdogedED Editor.

I find that AfterShock is the easiest to use. I had to pay roughly $1 for it and have been a happy user for a few years now. AfterShock only allows 1 boss node so you can only join one network. I use it for Fidonet.

HotdogED allows more than one net and has a lot to configure. I have fido and one othernet setup with it. You'll also need the HotdogED Fidonet Provider or HotdogED NNTP Provider as the transport for it. I use the Fidonet provider and find that works well. I suppose the NNTP Provider works well too but I have never tried it.

it...but last I recall, it was still on the backbone. I can't seem to
find a decent telnet client for the Android.
