Hello! Anyone notice that google groups dropped the option to
remain in Classic view and have on-the-fly translate? Everything
now the new interface and there is no translate option at all.
Totally sad.
I never knew groups had that option. Several email lists I was on migrated there after the server they were on shut down. But I never actually went to the interface.

which is primarily in German. The main developer writes to me in
English, but the rest of guys write in German between
themselves. The auto-translate seemed work very well and made the
visit feel seemless. I suppose you wouldn't notice the
difference very much with their webby interface on mobile. But
on the desktop it was noticeably different. The Classic made
more efficient use of the screen. The new one is blocky and
clearly looks like they think everyone owns a smartphone/tablet.
But the main translate feature is gone. :(

the web version too: thread- linkage, search, available on
another device, etc.
But you only have one device.. so you are all set.
