As for my patch regarding the editor help screen, that as already been take care of (thanks Andrew for responding so quick via Sourceforge).

I may have found another issue for which I opened an issue on SF. Let me know if my finding is correct or if I am misunderstanding something here.

It appears you are 100% correct on this one also. I've applied your fix in v1.0.8.6 which is now available in the Git repository.
