  • Name v store brands

    In my last post I mentioned not buying many brand names but store brands
    and also DG.
    DG does have good prices on some name brand items.
    If a name brand is equal in price to a store brand I will often go with
    the name brand. I.e., Tide over a store brand, Dial over a store brand, etc.
    Just wanted to clear some things up since I don't think my response was
    that clear.

    Sure, I do the same thing. If a name brand is on a good sale, I'll snap
    it up.
