I think merge nodelist will merge all the nodelists you provide
regardless of what they contain.
Correct. This is more directed at the OP but...
Merge nodelists looks in your nodelist directories and finds the latest nodelist for each of your networks you've configured. It then copies them into Mystic so they show up in the nodelist browser/searches.
Mystic doesn't require nodelist compilation or partial nodelist merging, it just uses full nodelists now that data transfer of a nodelist is insignificant...
The idea being that you don't have to over complicate your nodelist stuff like you used to back in the days. You can simply point Mystic to your file base directory that receives the nodelist for each of your networks, and Mystic automatically keeps it all updated for you.
