Little bell has just rung in my head :-)
I had a problem with the nVidia card with something else a while ago
and swapping it out for my AMD Radeon HD 6450 card solved the problem.
Hmmmmmm, I wonder ???? :)
Wonder no longer. Nvidia may indeed be the issue.
To cut a long story short, that turned out not to be the case. The
real culprit was the width of the window borders. After changing the default setting from "4" to "2", the problem has disappeared - Ha!
This applies to Win7(64-Bit) but I can't comment on other versions of Windows.
Dredging up an old problem and just to recap .....
I was having problems with AKA's being cropped at the right-hand end of
the message reader window in my old Win7(64-Bit) install of APoint, which
was solved as outlined above. However, I don't seem to be able to use that method with my Win10(64-Bit) install of APoint but after all this time,
I've finally found the solution .....
Install the Winaero Tweaker tool from
https://winaero.com
Once installed, do the following:
[1] In the "Appearance Section", click on "Aero Lite" and then click on "Enable Aero Lite(default)"
[2] In the "Advanced Appearance Settings" section, click on "Window
Borders", change the "Border Padding" from "4" to "0" and then click the "Apply changes" button.
Problem solved! :-)))
There's *LOTS* of other stuff that can be tweaked, have fun :-)
Regards,
Martin
