• I'll break the silence

I'll break Kamala's silence for her:

The real reason she refuses to talk to the press:

If someone from the press were to ask her "How would you fix the border if you were president?"

No matter what her answer is, the question that would remain would be "Why don't you fix it now, since you still have almost 5 months left as Vice President?"

The same goes for any question; if she refuses to fix something now, why would anyone believe that she'd fix it later?

The smartest thing she can do at this point is what she's doing; hiding from the press.

"I'll work with congress and...." Yea sure, she can't work with congress now, so she won't be able to work with them later either.

Valid point; she's in the WH now so she can work on effecting change but isn't a VP pretty toothless though, politically? Though given that their VP is the current nominated candidate, I'm sure Biden will rubber stamp whatever she runs past his desk. But I was always under the assumption that VPs don't really get much done, they're more cheerleaders for POTUS' initiatives.

I'm under that impression too, but if she can't get the man who personally selected her for her job to help solve a major problem, then IMO that makes the who team (Democrats in this case) look incompetent.

They're always backing one another up, and Joe is a total team player. It would make no sense for them to be unable to accomplish a reasonable goal immediately.
