• Insider trading by Trump

Trump conducted no fewer than 3,700 transactions in the first quarter of 2026. This was revealed by the mandatory disclosure by Trump and his advisors.

I am surprised they are cooperating in disclosing the transactions. They aren't even hiding them. Most transactions are shamelessly in shares of companies with which the Trump administration is actively in talks and/or collaborating.

We are talking about more than 40 transactions per day!

I can imagine that the broker who has Trump as a client will be very happy with such an active client.

In the first quarter, Trump bought shares of Nvidia Corp., Oracle Corp., Microsoft Corp., Boeing Co., and Costco Wholesale Corp. for at least 1 million dollars. Smaller transactions involved eBay, Abbott Labs, Uber, Dollar Tree, and AT&T.

This is shamelessly a case of insider trading. Trump appointed the regulators and expects total loyalty from them. Therefore, he does not expect prosecution. If it were to happen, he would replace the regulator with a better friend who does understand the new rules of the game in the US.
