The summit yielded nothing for the US. I think Xi will have picked up some interesting points from it, though.

For instance, Zi is probably convinced by now that Trump is a senile windbag and that he and his team cannot really be taken seriously in terms of knowledge.

What you can easily do with those Americans, however, is bribe them. They are a bunch of money-hungry older men who care little about laws and regulations. As long as they can get personally richer, you can get a lot done.

So what are Xi's considerations now? After all, he wants to annex Taiwan, and is that possible now?
