right now when i am at the main control panel for SBBS I can click the Login button and nothing happens. I can launch syncterm from the desktop. I would like to be able to click the login button from the BBS control panel and login from there. I like the syncterm program. It works real good and looks great. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Check the wiki (wiki.synchro.net/monitor:sbbsctrl:properties) specifically the Login Command. According to the Syncterm code the following should work:
syncterm rlogin://user:password@ricksbbs.synchro.net:22
OR
syncterm telnet://ricksbbs.synchro.net:23
The only problem is, exiting syncterm you will be prompted to save the entry. The default is 'no', so just an enter will exit the program. I don't see anything documented in the code to bypass this.
