• testing new rlogin.js -H

From xbit@1:103/705 to All on Thu Apr 24 08:28:45 2025
Great update, working but one thing I noticed is my -s[TAG] no longer works with the -H. It does w/ -h. This is to be expected, yes?

    tested command lines:
    ?rlogin x-bit.org:5130 -h -s[777] -q -t xtrn=GW777
    ?rlogin x-bit.org:5130 -H -s[777] -q -t xtrn=GW777

...A face like a wedding cake left out in the rain..

No, as long as the -s option is specified after -h or -H, it should work the same.

No, as long as the -s option is specified after -h or -H, it should work the same.

I see what's happening: the "password" field is *required* for the -H option (either -H<password> or -H <password>), so it's accepting "-s[777]" as the password. The whole point of -H (versus -h) is not use the user's password in the hash at all (so it can be changed later), so the sysop needs to provide a password on the command-line.
