    I was wondering if this very thing (Llmiting the number of
    connections from the same IP) was/is possible with WINS, and
    if so, how?

    Does it seem like more and more bots are clogging up
    available nodes? When
    I had my last bbs, it didn't seem this bad. What do
    y'all do? Add more
    nodes? Or will they just get clogged up too?

    Limit the number of connections from the same IP.

    i do this via my firewall(s)... i prefer to do it there so the software i'm protecting doesn't have to spend time ignoring/dropping them...
