    About 30 seconds later a by-law officer came in and congratulated me for passing that mystery shop, had I failed I would have received a fine and so would the business itself.

    No surprise there. Big Brother is always trying to trip up the little guy...

    I wasn't aware that individuals could be fined as well. Then again, I'm not a cashier, and never have been. And suddenly glad for that! (^_^)

    But, as I've stated before, I definitely cannot pass for 18 anymore. One
    look at my forehead is all it takes to ruin *that* illusion! This, plus familiarity with the employees and/or employer, means I don't get carded, at least in my town. And, really, anywhere else in the past couple of decades...
