Yes, and sugar. LOL I find it very very sweet. Whenever I get any take

Ketchup goes on a full English, skillet, anything with fries (chips),
hotdogs with grilled onions, and a few other things. Not pizza,
pineapple goes on pizza :) Not usually with a "proper" meat meal like
steak, chicken or pork.

I'm pro ketchup. It's part of the "holy trinity" of mustard,

relish &

ketchup that must go on my hot dogs & hamburgers.

Other things that I eat with ketchup are: Mac & cheese (both home

KD), french fries & fried eggs.

I forgot to mention grilled cheese. A grilled cheese practically
requires ketchup.

I'm deinitely in the "Mac & Chesse, Grilled Cheese, Fries & Eggs" camp
when it comes to ketchup.

I'll add -- Corned Beef Hash, and yes -- Prime Rib, Steak, Brisket.

They're generally larger than chicken eggs and have a richer/creamier taste to them. They're quite good, actually.

No ketchup on hot dogs for me. Just mustard. I will put Ketchup on my burgers though. I'm also picky about which ketchup I'll eat but that's a whole other thing :P

I learned to order hamburgers saying "No K Plus O", to get onion added without. Ketchup.

That's one of the oldest tricks in the fast food book, actually.. to always customize your order in some way. Extra this, hold that.. it usually ensures you'll get something freshly made instead of something that's been sitting for a while.

I've been asked this a lot, and my stock answer has evolved into:

Duck eggs are about 25% bigger, and they taste 25% eggier. :)

It's a more dense egg, so while it's the same flavor, it's a more pronounced one. Takes a little more work to get the "light and fluffy" consistency, but absolutely better for things like baking.

have the added sugar or corn syrup, while tomato sauce is usually thicker
and is less sweet. Tomato paste is even thicker still and almost certainly
has no added sweetners or flavors.

I encountered catsup during a trip to Cuba ~15 years ago, and it definitely wasn't ketchup as I know it. Savory and with some olive flavor to it IIRC, not so sweet and vinegary as I'm used to.

(I think "catsup" is just an alternate spelling and different regions have their own interpretation of the sauce. In the Phillipines, apparently banana ketchup is quite popular.)

Popular in Jamica as well, I grabbed a bottle of the banana
stuff from a Jamican market in Toronto and guess what? Can't
tell the difference from tomato... that's how much sugar is in

They might still be. My limited experience with them is that one (catsup)
was generally a lot cheaper than the other. Once supermarket chains like Kroger and Walmart started selling their own "generic" ketchup, I quit
seeing catsup available.

I will have to keep my eyes open the next time I am shopping.

I should have said, yes it was a Grace product. I quite like their
"extra hot" pepper sauce. It's not quite hot, but has a nice flavour
if you like the vineger based ones.

A good one for having flavour and not destroying your mouth with capsaicin like some sauces do. I've tried a few of their others, but that's the one I keep going back to. It's a step up from Frank's in flavour, but on the same spiciness tier.

My favourite hot sauce, which I haven't had in years, was from Stasis Preserves and had ghost peppers and apple cider vinegar among other ingredients. Lots of heat but also a lot of flavour. They currently sell a "Ghost Chili" sauce which I think is the same thing - but it's sold out on their Shopify store. :(

That's it. Andrea bought me a big jar of Frank's so that's what I'm going through now.

My favorite one is one I made. Of course I didn't write down the recipe
and I can't remember everything in it. LOL It was the third time I made
hot sauce and the flavours in it were amazing. Even people at work liked
it though the Sri Lankin's all said it had no heat at all. I now write down what I put in when I'm playing with things just in case. :)

When I was a very small person, my grandmother would say, "catsup." I thought it was some quaint depression era affectation of ketchup until I saw a bottle actually labeled "catsup" in her fridge.

I do vaguely recall it tasting different than the ketchup my parents had, but I never really thought about that difference until now.
