Keith Emerson standing on a Hammond organ stabbing it with kitchen knives... they dont make keyboard players like that these days...
absolute legend!
Was he the keyboard player for the band 'Asia'? Saw them in person
twice and they are one of my favorite groups.
Karl Palmer on drums, Geoff Downes (ex Yes/Buggles) on keyboards, Steve Howe on guitar, and John Wetton on bass/vox.
I heard John Wetton in concert playing "Roudabout", and thought that he sounded the closest to Chris Squire that I'd heard - there was some nuance
I'm not able to grasp fully that he just "got".
When Chris Squire passed away, then Yes was inducted into the hall of fame,
I was saddened to think the only other person who could have nailed it was John Wetton.
Then, I heard Geddy Lee playing with the rest of Yes at the induction into
the Rock and Roll hall of fame, and he did a great job of honoring a
wonderful bassist (and the longest running member of all of the incarnations of Yes...)
