  • HTTP downloads?

    Hi All,

    Mystic has a built in web server. Check.
    Mystic offers my users to download the files that they queued via HTTP. Check.

    Mystic provides said downloads to users. ... uh... nope.


    Timeout error for any user trying to download via HTTP. DOes anyone have a reliable way to get HTTP downloads working from mystic?

    What port are you running the webserver on? Do you have a port forward setup on your router to point to that address:port?

    I set up Mystic to listen on port 9898. It is listening and working in terms
    of serving up HTML - if you browse to bbs.alsgeeklab.com:9898 you see a
    static test page I put up there in the docroot, I just want it to serve up files on demand for the users when they want an HTTP download, like I think it's supposed to.

    Well shoot.. I fired it up on my end as well with the exact same results as you. =/ it is interesting, when I open up the URL it is just a blank page with a number which appears to be the number of files that I selected to download. Hmm. I will try and use some google-f00 to figure this one out.
