    How's things?

I just went to the bakery and got a "Red Devil" It's a hot dog sausage
wrapped in pastry with some kind of sauce in it. I got it mostly because
    I was hungry. That's a true story.

Also I've been working on Magicka quiet a bit the last couple of days,
and also setting up HappyLand. Had a few visitors overnight to the BBS
and they all put in realistic info which was nice.

I know in this internet age many don't like to tell others who they are,
which I suppose is fair enough, but I don't really see a problem with
putting in the general area you are connecting from (which can be
obtained via the IP usually anyway).

Anyway. Just thought I'd post on here to see who was out there :)

Hey there. I'm a lurker... we'll not really ... but I seem to be busy with work, and othernet stuff and just generally busy so not as active in the
hobby as I would like to be.

If I could have 2-3 days of unrestricted play time on computers I would be a very happy man indeed.

Tomorrow I fly to Wellington to take part in a working group looking at best practices for archival of social media content. This is in the context of NZ local governmental authorities who use social for engagement with citizens
and then have a record of such engagement they need to keep (there's regulations over data and document retention to consider here)..

Long story short the working group I am in is trying to draft policy and guidelines for the wider community to help them with this area...

I get picked up at 5am, fly at 6.15am ... spend all day in meetings, fly home at 7.15pm, get home around 9.30pm and then fall into bed.

Not much BBSing tomorrow... it's a total bummer.. :)

Hi! I seem to recognize your handle from somewhere. Hehe. Sounds like
things have been quite busy for you.

Yeah, hmm got any holidays coming up?

I'd never thought of that. I know centerlink (Social Security) here have
a facebook page, I wonder what they do regards to that. Do facebook have
a data download? For some reason I think they do. Anyway, I'm sure you'll
be talking about that more than enough tomorrow :)

Aw, you're going to be tired on friday.

Ah well. Seems like lots of people are quite busy at present. Good thing
our BBSes aren't going anywhere :)

I prefer to know at least what country they are from. It is not a big deal
but it is nice to know when I have a visitor from someplace "new" to the
    bbs, or from far away.

That actually sounds good. A great base before drinking some beers.

It's awesome to see people still working on maintaining BBS software. We all know that this is a dying hobby, but there are plenty of people out there who are interested in this style of communication, no data mining here.
