So I think I am having a problem with LoRD.
I killed some folks on interbbs and claimed a bunch of gems. I took those
gems to the Innkeeper to get some upgrades, and it said

"Piracy bites. Your aura feels weaker"
And it subtracted the amount of HP it was supposed to Add.

I tried changing to a different regkey but it happened even after that.
Anyone know what I need to do to fix it or have a working keygen?

Unless the gems you get from interlord are somehow poison and it has nothing
to do with software piracy?? I dunno it sounded similar to what another user reported here.

Regular Lord, not the igm's. Once I come back from killing people and taking their gems in interlord, I visit the Innkeeper to turn gems into hitpoints or str or vit. So lets say i took 20 gems from people, the Bartender will
exchange 2 for a point of whatever, so i should be getting 10HP or 10STR or 10VIT. I usually choose HP, and when I choose it, it says that Piracy bites thing, and subtracts 10HP from my max hp instead of adding 10.

I don't know if this is something specific to gems gathered in interlord or
if the game is barfing on me saying it has a pirated serial reg.

If i remember correctly, this is a bug in the game. Lord seems to think you
got them gems outside of the game so it thinks you have edited the data files to give yourself more gems.

One way around this is selling the gems in the Castle Colddrake IGM.

So, Lord is telling my users they are unable to level up past 8 because it's pirated. I have tried several keys for this game and this keeps coming up.

Anyone have a working keygen?

Jokker have you done any work on Lord 4.06 yet, I know you mentioned it
earlier that you would be looking at it.

Also, I thought I read somewhere that the creator of Coldrake Castle was
giving out free keys, I reached out via netmail but never heard anything back.

Anyone regg'ed Interlord itself? I haven't seen anything that it cripples so probably doesn't matter, but i really hate that word 'UNREGISTERED' :D

I haven't delved into it yet since I think there are keygens that do work or
at least valid keys. Since I don't think keys are tied to sysop/bbs name for LORD.

We really should get that large scale repo thing going so we can sort it. Or perhaps build a nice generator front-end either via BBS or web that can just make keys for the gens available.

Yeah, I have the same. And I really don't want to use 4.07 (which I paid for) especially since once upon a time I also paid for like...3.55 or something,
and had a reg key on a sheet of paper.

Oh, how I wish Seth Able could resurrect those old reg codes...
