I'm new to echomail, so sorry if this question is really lameresque:
I have a subfolder called "echomail" from my main Mystic folder.
This folder has a whole bunch of files in it from Scinet that are taking
up a lot of space (like 500MB) sciibbs.1.zip, scibbs.10.zip, etc.
I am assuming that these files are contain the Scinet echomail that I've downloaded and imported to my BBS. I deleted all these, and everything still seems to be ok with my BBS and its Scinet interaction. So that's a relief.
But how can I automatically delete these after the messages are
imported? Something in the mutil.ini?
If not, is it safe to manually delete them? (Seems like it is safe.)
Those files are from SciNet's fileechos (think files for your files areas instead of mail for you messages area). If you don't have a tic processor (tic's are how files get processed and moved into file areas) then I will
turn off the fileechos for you.
If you want to setup tic processing at a later date, you can turn them back
on yourself via filefix or just ask me and I will turn them on for you.
